DebtPaypro has been very busy adding new functionality to the Consumer Portal that benefits both you and your clients.
The Consumer Portal now includes the following additional configuration options and features:
Utilization of custom domains
Similar to the CRM, if your company uses its own domain, it can now be utilized to host the Consumer Portal. Custom domains reinforce consumer confidence in your brand and enable additional look and feel and branding options. In addition to configuring colors, you can now control items such as photos on the login and home pages with your own branded content.
Advanced portal permissions control
A new Permissions capability specific to the portal allows you to select what features you want to enable for your customers & employees. Separating agent and consumer access, the permissions system determines whether an item is read-only or has the ability to perform an action such as downloading a document or sending information. Different settings for agents and consumers ensure a separation of responsibility between parties, enhance security, and support good record access protocols. Granular permissioning allows for flexibility with how you deploy the portal to best serve your clients.
Transaction and document type visibility
You can now select the types of documents you want to allow users to upload to the Portal. They are identified as Bank Statements, Settlement Letters, etc. They can also include any customized documents you have set up in your CRM.
We listened to your ideas and added more robust visibility controls for transaction and doc types accessible by clients. In a few clicks you can limit visibility to only the specific document and transaction types that you want to share with clients. All system and custom doc types are available for control as well as all transaction types supported on the platform.
Ability to add FAQs
You can add your own set of FAQs within the Portal. Any frequently asked questions can be easily incorporated along with tailor-made answers, via a simple question management module in the portal admin, to keep unnecessary messaging and calling to a minimum.
Mobile Optimization
After examining analytics, which show that about 70% of users access our portals via a mobile device, we redesigned the consumer portal from the ground up to optimize for mobile. A leaner codebase (about 30% smaller) along with various application and infrastructure level improvements have been made to enable speed and a better user experience for you and your clients.
Proactive Transaction Related Communications
If permissioned by you, consumers can view their schedule of upcoming transactions, along with a handy messaging feature allowing them to send inquiries or comments. Your team receives additional information about the transaction including ID, process date, amounts, and more. This proactive communication was built to not only reduce NSF’s and similar processing failures, but to invite your customers to proactively engage with you over the course of their program.
Feature of the Month: Using the Form Builder to Create External Forms
The Form Builder in the CRM can be used to create external forms. These forms are specifically designed to be emailed to clients, creditors, etc., or uploaded into the Consumer Portal. Recipients can then complete the forms themselves and once submitted, the information goes directly into the CRM.
Why use them
What makes them so helpful is that they are a great way to safely collect and update client data, upload documents, and gather payment information directly from the source, as well as save your agents time, avoid typos and entering incorrect data.
Facts about external forms
External forms accept data from both system and custom fields.
They allow the recipient the option to save and finish completing the form at a later time.
You can decide whether the new data entered in the form replaces the existing data in the system or disregards it.
Forms are password protected for security.
Accepts e-signatures.
Customizing forms and emails
When you create an external form, you are given customization options such as adding your logo, a theme color and including a disclaimer. The forms fields can be set to date, numeric, dropdown menus, etc. for quick and easy entry.
Emailing forms
When a client is emailed an external form, the email includes a unique password and a link to the form itself. When the form has been completed and submitted, the information is inputted directly into the appropriate locations in the CRM, along with uploading and documents that have been attached.
