The following article will illustrate two methods that can be utilized inside of Debt Pay Pro to assign a contact to a system user in the CRM.
Change Assigned User
Select a Company: Select the user's company you intend to assign the client file to
Select an Assigned User: Select the system user you intend to assign the client file to
Once final selections are made, Click Update.
Assign via Edit Contact
Select Edit Contact
Once final selections are made, Click Save.
Public & Private Contacts
Contact files are private by default. This means that only the Assigned User (and anyone with Shared User Data access to the Assigned User's contacts) has access to the contact. Checking this box will mark the contact as "Public". Public contacts are viewable by all Users regardless of the contact's assignments.
Contact Assignments & Shared User Data
Assigning contacts in the CRM essentially grants access to a specific client data file to a specific user. The shared user data settings will determine if other users can also have access. Shared User Data allows a user to view / data (contacts) that are assigned to or created by the selected Users. Settings can be controlled by users with Super Admin privileges.
