Note Templates can be setup so your users will enter notes in a uniform fashion.
Location: Admin Tab > Settings > Note Templates
Creating Note Templates
Once on the Note Template builder screen, you will find a field for the input body and the shared with settings. Simply create a message in the Template Body field as you wish it to appear on the actual notes.
After entering the Template Body, apply the "Shared With" setting. The "Shared With" setting controls who has access to use the Note Template. You may choose to have some templates only available to specific users or teams. In the example, we are sharing this template with "everyone" so all users will have access to use the Note Template.
Using Note Templates
From the client dashboard under the Notes Tab, you can use the note templates by accessing the drop-down menu above the Note field. Once you have selected the Note Template, it will be populated into the Note field. You can then make further edits. In the example below we have added information about a client's recently returned payment and the resolution.
Notify User and CC Emails
You are able to notify others of the note you are making by either choosing a user form the Notify User field or entering an email address in the CC Emails field. Once saved, the note will be sent by email to the user or email address specified.
You are able to search the existing notes in two ways. First, using the search field to enter key words; and second, using the note type drop-down to filter the notes and display notes by the selected note type.
