Opening the Quick Messaging Window
Location: Client Dashboard > Emails Tab
The Quick Message window can be accessed by going to the Client Dashboard > Emails Tab > "Send an Email" Button (enclosed in red on the right side of image below) or anywhere you see the envelope icon (enclosed in read on the left side of image below).
You will also find the envelope icon on the contacts tab when viewing a list that displays contact's email address.
Quick Message Window
Once you click the envelope icon or the "Send an Email" button "Quick Mail Messaging" window will appear. From the window you can compose a message from scratch, or you can load an email template that was created in the “E-Marketing tab”. You can do this by choosing a template from the drop down menu shown in the above image inside the red box. Once a template has been chosen you can then click “Load Template” directly to the right of the drop down menu and the template will be populated along with all field tags that are included. From here you can further edit the email content in the email body editing box, (this will not edit the template under the E-Marketing tab, only this individual email being sent).
To include attachment (lower red box) to the email you will find several options below the email bod editor window. First select the location you would like to upload the attachment from.
Attach File Options
Local - Your computer hard-drive or available local drive (computer hard-drive).
Media Library - These are files uploaded to the Files Tab.
Generated Document - These are documents that have been generated and saved under the “Docs” tab and are available for this particular contact. Please note that documents must first be generated from the templates for them to be available here to include in emails as attachments.
Uploaded Documents - Similar to “Generated Documents” these are files that have been uploaded and saved under the “Docs” tab available on this particular contact.
Email Logs
Once you have loaded and edited your email to your liking, you can now click “Send Email” at the top of the “Quick Mail Massaging” window. Once sent, the email will be listed under the clients dashboard “Emails” tab (You may need to refresh your browser for the tab to update in your browser).
