Location: Admin tab > Edit User
This article will outline the steps to take in the event that you or another User is locked out of their User account and needs assistance to log back in.
If you simply wish to change your own password, you can do this while logged in by Changing Your Password.
**Requirements: A logged in User that has proper permissions to Edit Users. If you need a Password Reset and there are no other Users in your CRM that have the permission to Edit Users, please contact Support@debtpaypro.com for assistance.
1. From the Admin tab, locate the User that you want to reset the password for, then click the arrow to edit that User.
For demonstration purposes, we will be changing the password for User John Smith. **Pictured above.
2. Input a new temporary Password for the User in the Password and Confirm Password boxes.
3. Check the box Require Password Change At Next Login.
4. Check the box enable Email Login Info.
This will tell the system that you wish to send the new temporary Login Information to the User's email address.
5. Click Save User.
Once the above steps are completed, your User can check their email inbox to locate the new temporary login information. The email will come from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Click the Login URL and input your temporary login information. Once you are successfully logged in, the system will then prompt you to create a new permanent password.
